„Be Constructive“ will manage construction of largest wind farm in Lithuania
Stage I of the 14-teen wind powers plants farm of Estonian state “Eesti Energia” group of companies started in Kelmė district is called to be one of the largest projects of renewable energy in Lithuania. In the future, it is planned to develop two more stages - a total of up to 55 wind power plants will be built here. For now, only the vision of a wind farm in the Baltic Sea can surpass these ambitions. It is planned that 14 new power plants will generate about 266 GWh of electricity per year. The total power of the entire park will reach 320 MW, which is three times more than Kaunas Algirdas Brazauskas hydroelectric power station that dammed the Nemunas.
